“Did You Know…” Contest.

Prizes:
First Prize:
• -3 month sub to dA
• -Patches ([link]) donated by =Tepara
Second Prize:
• -3 Month sub to dA
Third Prize
• -1 month sub to dA

This isn’t an overly artistic contest, other than the fact you will get a sub out of it.

What I want:
I want you to shock me. Surprise me. Make me laugh, smile, SOMETHING.
I want a random fact. Something that shocks me.

Something like “Dolphins and Humans are the only animals that mate for pleasure” or “Coke cleans your toilet the best.”

Please share this around, it’s about the community, lets make the deviantART community aware of it. Please link back to THIS journal.

• From there I will choose the Top Ten entries.

Entry rules

• You can enter as many times as you want. BUT. Each entry must be in its own email. With one fact per entry.

• You Must be a deviant

• Entries must be truthful. And easily back-up-able.

• Entries MUST be received at contest.deviantART@drake.net.nz . BEFORE 12 AM, NZT, on the morning of 1 June.

• Entries Must be submitted to contest.deviantART@drake.net.nz Entries to any other email addresses/journal/location WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED for entry.

• Entry emails must contain your deviantART username.

• From all entries, Five (5) will be selected and put up for your vote, to decide the winner.

• Unfortunately, because I'm not Donald Trump, or any other uber-rich guy, I can’t afford many winners. Because of this, if I receive the same fact multiple times, I will have to disqualify the entry, to make it fair. (I can’t give a prize to one person, if seven people give the same fact.) If I do have to disqualify your entry, you WILL be notified in the form of an email from me. So you won’t be kept in the dark.

• Finalists will be decided by me, and notified by email. And will also be posted in a Journal.

• Winners will be notified by email, will be posted in a journal, and will be contacted for further information if required.

Um, aliens you know as "greys" live in a binary star system. Their planet, Zeta Reticuli, was once full of oceans, and sea based life. When the planet's climate started changing, land mass started appearing, and the first wave of land based life evolved from the sea based life forms. Some time later, "greys" appeared as an evolution of one of the sea based life forms that is very similar to our dolphins. They adapted themselves to the land. A lot of years later, they found humans. Humans started seeing UFO's, people started talking about abductions and the "greys" became popular in the modern world. It took our scientists a lot of time figuring them out. But they finally discovered their origin and explained some of their features, like no visible reproductive organs (they don't wear uniforms), their big eyes that causes paralysis and their skin, as that they are a direct descendants of a sea based life forms. Dolphins are known to use their ability to paralyse their pray or while defending themselves, and they too don't have any visible reproductive organs.
Shocking enough?
